I'm trying to piece together what all has changed from a hardware standpoint from year to year since 2017. I know in 2019 they have made a sunroof standard, as well as a JBL audio system. They also took away the passenger side bed compartment.

I don't know what changed from 2017 to 2018? I thought I read somewhere that they increased the diameter of the front sway bar and also added a remote reservoir to the back shocks to better withstand heat generated during heavy articulation of the rear axle.

I just want to be informed of all the sacrifices that I would be making if I bought a used 2017 trd pro vs buying a 2018 or even a newer 2019.

The biggest change (and maybe only?) from 17 to 18 is Toyota Safety Sense. That includes forward collision detection/brake assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning.

Colors also change year to year.
