That’s what I thought too, but the traction gained on the front end from both roof top tents is more than enough

True, but the drag coefficient net result from the RTTs justifies the need for the added traction obtained through said nonexistent front locker.

Interesting. Toyota always fucks up somehow. Honestly I’m just thankful for the rear disc brakes and that new warranty that covers electrical/no questions asked, for those of us who obsessively need to upgrade the lights from “lights up the road in front of me just fine” to “gamma ray burst lethality” and the often “now my truck won’t start” issues. It’s nice to know that they have my back.

Rear disk brakes, Hino 4cyl diesel, and that warranty will be welcome additions...off to the dealership!

Well I'll be all over that 2018 but only if rooftop tents have remote control....

Relax. They still have the ironically anemic 6cyl internal combustion comedy hour paired with a 6 speed.

You can get some stellar deals on the '17's right now. If you don't care about the extra sensi-nanny stuff (I don't), it'd do you good to shop for '17's.

Can't lift new ones with tss. Can't change grill you will be stuck with the one it comes with.
Pro grill will be expensive with tss radar set for pro ride height.

I was at the Helena Motors (Montana) dealership today for my 15k service and counted 13 2017's out front. That seems like a LOT of 17's for a relatively small town dealership to have at the end of November, doesn't it? When I bought mine in March I was able to get $2400 below MSRP. Great deals waiting to be had, methinks.
