Toyota's documentation says tow package is standard on all 2018 V6 models.

Didn't want to start a new thread.

Have you guys heard anything about lifting the 2018s? Been to two dealerships and they say it's not possible now with the new sensors. Has anyone heard anything otherwise?

DCLB have locking diffs. Apparently that is new for 2018.

Most important for me though... I know it wasn't flooded in Harvey!

Hate the lane departure 'warning' beep- means on a highway to change lanes and not get beeped at you have to use turn signals -- which makes you the only person using turn signals. why I got a 2017!

I love everything except the lane departure warning. It gets rather annoying on the roads where I live. the line stripers in town were asleep at the wheel as its almost impossible to not straddle the lanes in most areas around town = incessant beeping. I have tried lowering the sensitivity and volume but still annoying. A beer for the first person to tell me how to turn it off completely! The adaptive cruise makes everything a little less annoying, cant beat it.

Umm, just hit the button and it will turn off? I just got mine yesterday, but I had to press a button to engage it, then when I didn't want it on I pressed the button again and it turned off. That's not very technical but I haven't read the manual yet, that's for tonights entertainment.

Wife's Tahoe gently steers the truck back towards the bicyclist you moved over to not kill. Unnerving.

It is on your steering wheel, little button on the left side. More information on pages 244 onward in the online manual.Screen Shot 2018-01-23 at 8.16.05 AM.jpg Screen Shot 2018-01-23 at 8.15.54 AM.jpg

That reminds me of those drug commercials where they are going to relieve your depression by giving you liver bleeding and headaches accompanied by erratic bowels..

over 600 pages in the manual, I'd say 300 at least are warnings.

GM works totally different than the Toyota version in my wife's Rav4 then. On her Rav4 any resistance at all to the corrective steering back's off without hesitation.

The era of cars being fun is over. No wonder America is pissed, the nanny-state slowly took away one of our favorite pastimes with over regulation. Constant nagging and beeping "NO YOU CANT HAVE THE DOOR OPEN AND THE RADIO ON BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP."
