Hello everyone! Im in the market to buy a new Tacoma. I figured I would do some research and who better to ask....tacoma owners. Can't afford TRD pro. So here's my questions.

1.sr5- 4x4 over 2x4 is it worth it to have the option? "Los Angeles area - I go to the desert once in a while"

    2.whats more bang for buck?

    3. Is it better to do a base sr and then throw after market stuff on?

    4. Are there any real differences between the sr or sr5.

4x4 would be worth if you plan to visit the desert once in awhile or hit the trails more often down the road. The SR5 is a great choice in 4x4 setup but if you can get the TRD Off Road then I recommend it

Howdy! If you want a manual transmission, the SR 4 banger comes with that option. SR5 is auto only. Welcome to the campfire.
