Fixed JBL audio passender door rattle with felt between door and switch plate. Reseated driver side body mount behind passenger seat to fix annoying clicking/creaking sound.
Hello! I just purchased my Tacoma on May 6th. It was delivered to the dealership on May 5th so it was fresh off the truck.

I really love this truck. I traded a 2016 GMC Yukon Denali that was the worst vehicle I've ever owned, and before that I had a 2015 GMC Canyon SLT long bed 4x4 which is the other worst vehicle I've owned. See a pattern there?

I'm not entirely new to Toyota, I had a 2000 Tacoma TRD 4x4 Ext Cab Manual. The 3rd gen is light years beyond. It rides much better than my Denali and my Canyon.

I also just bought my wife a 2017 Lexus GX 460 Premium with the Sport package. We enjoy it for road trips with our two kids. She traded in a 2012 Highlander Limited AWD with 38k on the odomoter. The only issue we ever had with it was the battery corroding which was common.

As for my taco, I love the JBL Audio, but only after I removed the passenger switch plate and applied felt between the door and the plate to fix a horrible rattle.

I also had to fix the driver side body mount behind the passenger seat because it was creaking/clicking like crazy. Reseating the bolt under the plastic plug fixed the issue completely.

I've added husky floor liners, a Toyota bed mat, and the bed step because I'm middle aged and not flexible. I also added wheel locks and a spare tire lock. It came with led bed lights, tri-fold cover, remote tailgate lock, black rock rails and the paint protection package.

I have 800 miles and I'm really happy with my truck so far. I don't have transmission issues or complaints that many have, at least not yet and the shift learning is improving quickly. I think if people experienced the 2015+ GMC Canyon and Yukon Denali they would be much more understanding that Toyota got this right.
