Just read through your whole thread and I love your progress. I enjoy following these build pages where everything is very particular and used for a specific reason. My last Tacoma was built up with a shell and a RTT. It was a nice setup but had its shortcomings. I just recently upgraded to a new Tacoma and am definitely am looking at a Drifter or GFC. (leaning more towards gfc) It just makes sense for what I want to do. Looking forward to seeing more

Great thread man! Followed your adventures in Zero on the Drifter thread but didn’t know you had this thread til now, subbed for sure!

Gotta say I’m impressed you still have this same Tacoma after the accidents, I’d think it was unlucky! Haha

Which rear bumper do you have? Anything you would change about it?

I really need to update this thing but funny you should ask today.

I have had an SOS Concepts High Clearance Dual Swing Out which I absolutely love mounted for about 3 months. I had it installed in SC and it went great - owner is a super nice guy and the worksmanship is fantastic.

I had a metal pipe welded on today so I could mount a light to illuminate rear of truck and my kitchen.

Sweet rig, love these build threads where the person takes you through a mini story. Almost like we were there for the ride. I need to make a trip to the west coast eventually and Ill definitely have to hit up some of the places you hit. I'm already planning on trying to go to Bishop where my dad grew up and explore it more. Beautiful area.

Saw some pics of the interior build out on the Vagabond Build-out thread....any chance of posting some build pics of the interior?
I'd love to do the same thing with 80/20 as you, but never have worked with it before

That'd be great...I'm really curious about the schematics and how the 80/20 fits together, drawer slides, and panels.
Also, I'm going to Mr Plywood for a base plate today...did you use 3/8 baltic birch?

Been trying to keep up with this thread since it started. You have an awesome truck Sir. I hope to emulate it in my ‘17 Pro in the next few years.

Any suspension upgrades, or is everything still stock?

    Cheers,

just wondering why did you use two circuit breakers on each battery?

Each circuit breaker was for a different purpose. 2x of them for the ACR (one on each battery), another was for the fuse box, and the last was for in bed power.

I list the suspension upgrades on the first page.

And, for anyone who is following this thread and is wondering why it hasn’t her updated in forever...I sold the truck in November and upgraded to an F150 which is a better truck for full time living.

As you can tell, I didn’t leave that one stock either.

Following your awesome build. I'm planning to put a Blue Sea outlet at the back of my truck too for the fridge. What gauge did you end up using? Did you use a fuse? It is a direct line to the battery, right?

I used 10, then 6, and finally settled on 4. I used a circuit breaker.

    Sickk!

Im about to start planning a 8020 build for my vagabond nomad.

I was about to get the 20x20 but I think yours is the 30x30, do you think I can get away with the 20x20 or should i just get the beefier one?
