Is there a “dry” free flow air filter available for the 2018 Tacoma? I looked at the trd pro filter but it uses oil. I’m a little skeptical about oil and mass air flow sensors.

This has been debated ad nauseum here.

The Toyota OEM stock filters the best with about the same airflow as aftermarket.

I’d stay with the stock air filters for warranty, as well.

AFE makes one, but as noted it won't provide any measurable improvements - besides possibly more dirt.

I’ve looked at AEM. They offer the tundra but not 2018 Tacoma. I requested an email when available.

I don't know what all the hype is behind aftermarket 'dry flow' filters.
Paper filters are very efficient and work well. I run 500+BHP with a stock paper filter and airbox in my street car (2001 Audi S4).

If you ment AFE. Look at the bottom of the page on the link above. The tundra one fits in the 2016-2019 box on the V6 engine.

Not disagreeing with you on efficiency. I just do a lot of dusty road and desert driving. I like that when I get home I can flush it out with water and it’s good as new as opposed to paying $20 to replace.
