Anyone else get this letter from Toyota? Mailing mine in today for a $100 check.

By the way, I love my truck. The AT shifts fine, the windshield hasn't cracked nor has the frame rotted. The only issue was the millimeter wave radar sensor would go off for no reason but they recalled it, sealed it and it has been fine since.;)

Just realized today is my 2 year anniversary for my truck. Picked it up on Feb 14th, 2018.

Got my letter in the mail today, nice. Thanks for the heads up OP, it looks like junk mail and I probably wouldn't have opened it.

For the mental anguish of finding out that the Government Safety Ratings sticker that I don't recall ever seeing, much less cared about, was the wrong one.

Corporations just don’t voluntarily offer compensation to consumers without a fight...if there is a misrepresentation on the window sticker then they are well aware you didn’t receive the benefit of your bargain.

Sent mine in the other day as well; truck just turned two years old.
Had a recall/safety campaign done on the dynamic radar cruise control as well. (That's not exactly what they called it, but it's that device up front that always brings up a warning when the bumper gets iced up) Which wasn't a problem in AZ...:(

Believe it was only an issue on the Access Cabs, if I remember the letter from Toyota correctly.

That’s surely by design. The fact that you have to take action to get your $$$ means that anything they can do to meet the letter of the law, but obfuscate the true intent, is money they don’t have to spend.

more importantly, if you are a hurt in an accident where the rating was relevant, they are in deep sh+t. it is likely you are giving up your right to remonstrate by accepting the payment and acknowledging the wrong information
was provided to you. no way toyota is handing out money because they feel bad about their error/negligence.

After doing a CMC and other mods I feel like I wouldn’t have much legal recourse anyways so I’ll take the Benjamin
