“Spoke with extra care they want us to get valve clearances to them so we will send the head out to the machine shop for them to get us that information, (as we do not do that here)I doubt we will hear back til next week.
For your information the code in your truck is a P11EE code which is an imbalance code which measures air fuel ratio between the cylinders, so if it exceeds the threshold then that makes the engine light come on. And for your vehicle it is the #3 cylinder that is causing the imbalance, now sending the head out will tell us if it is the valve or the seat in the head. That will determine if we need a new head or just valves. Hope this makes sense. Thanks and will update when I get more info.”

    2018 Tacoma. 78k miles
    No3 cylinder 125psi vs 175psi the rest.

sucks bro. I hope when they are done and build back plus with new plugs I’ll be good for a while. Toyota only offers 65k warranty. I thought It was 100k. Maybe 2gen? Im glad I bought the extended warranty. I baby this thing lol change at dealer every 5-6k so I’m sure that removed any maintenance doubt issues. What causes such a catastrophic failure at low miles. This is rare for a tacoma with low miles I hope. I bought this and love my truck depending solely on reliability.
