Dang, I may have to at least try the wheel decals and decide if I want to paint the stock wheels. I photochopped the wheels being all gunmetal. I like it way more than I thought I would.

Hard for me to tell... did you photoshop the whole wheel gunmetal, or did you leave the black portions black? They look black still...I’d love to see what a full gunmetal looks like but I got no photoshop skilz

Hello, with the gun metal photoshop, did you leave the original color on everything but the silver? I think the gun metal looks really good. Thanks

Thanks! I'm thinking black emblems, black tacoma letters and black headlights are my next items. What LED lights? The fogs?

Well with my cement 4x4 Off Road.. I blackened out the Tacoma emblems.. took off the V6 emblem.. replaced it with a black 4x4 emblem.. I changed all my lights to LEDs (low beams, high beams, fog lights, all interior lights.. & even my license plate lights.. halogens are so dull & ugly) I filled in the Tacoma tail gate stamp with vinyl enlays.. also filled the Tacoma stamp that’s on the glove box with vinyl.. next I’m changing my grille to the TRD PRO and having my TRD exhaust powder coated to black..

Where did you get from the OME 885s???
I alraedy ordered Bilstein 5100 shocks 2.5"front 1.5 block rear. 285/70/17 BFG KO2 17" Raceline wheels.... but I think if I stay at 0 and change the coil is better right?

I think the consensus is that springs are desired over front spacers although I think the spacers are probably safe and fine for most. 885/2885 are pretty easily available anywhere. 4 wheel parts had them in stock. The springs are only $180, and I wanted a better ride than stock which is what I wanted.

Hit the 5k mark, no issues of course and had the first complimentary service. They didn't say anything about the lift or anything.

Regarding the chinese knockoff grilles. There's two and I don't know which is which from ebay listings. One is a factory repro where the sensor can literally drop right in place with the same hardware as the stock grille using the factory garnish. I got the one that needed to be hacked a bit. I had to dremel some things and get creative to install the sensor with the OEM garnish and it required some adhesive. From the outside you can't tell at all.

Either way, both will work, my adaptive cruise control and braking work just fine after.

@Me. Projekt The aftermarket grille works just fine.. just make sure you buy the OEM glass garnish.. it fits right in front of the grille.. you don’t want to compromise any of the TSS

do you have a link to the glass garnish that I need???

do you have any pics from when you installed yours / what's all involved to transfer the TSS sensor over to the new grill?

Transferring the “tss” is only from what I remember two screws. It’s really easy. And the part number for the gardish is “53141-35060

I have one for sale in California new if anyone is interested but most dealerships probably carry it.
