April 2020, 35s get mounted up, here's the truck on the alignment rack. At this point, I brought the front up on the second 5100 notch which put the front lift around 5" and I added another .5" out back for 3.5" rear. Also, I found a good deal on the 2020 grille which I really like and mounted it as well.

The 35s didn't clear well at all. April 2020, This forced a CMC and aggressive trimming. Now the 35s fully clear and I haven't rubbed on or off road since.

    Next step:

I decided to pickup a Demello front bumper that I will install next week. I indulged myself with a (pretty crappy) photochop to make sure it's what I wanted to do. It is. Being able to photoshop things on this truck has really helped me make decisions.

Along with the bumper, I'll be installing Rough Country Black Series 30" light bar and Baja Design Squadron SAE white lights so stay tuned for that mess.

    Demello Front bumper install complete.

For outfitting this thing with lighting, I opted for the $265 Baja Squadron SAE driving lights (Street legal) and the $179 Rough Country 30" Black Edition Light Bar. Not a bad score. I did order a light bar switch for the dash, but the Rough Country has a 3-position switch for marker LEDs/OFF/ON. Both kits come with tons of wiring to install. The Rough Country kit had relays, fuses and nylon wrapped cable and waterproof connectors.

Ok, first step and the most unnerving, cutting the stock bumper. No going back. I went to harbor freight and picked up the small angle grinder that can take the thin 3" discs. I felt the 4" was too big and a dremel too small. I did use Demello's measurements and they turned out very well.

    Final result.

Now I'm not a big flashy off-road light guy. I like good headlights and good driving lights. However, I gotta admit, the light bar is actually pretty cool. I love how the lightbar has a low output driver light setting. It kind of brought out the 16 year old kid in me with my first F150 that I probably put like 10 KC lights on haha.

I wanted to go with a higher contrast wheel to the grey/black. I went with the KMC impacts.

Got these mounted today and I haven't seen them anywhere here on TW. They're one of KMC's newer designs, I think they've been out for a few months. 16x8 0 offset, machine faced face with black lip ring which is cool and I like how it's a modern design without faux beadlock bolts and bolts everywhere. These are going to be such a PITA to clean but I digress.

You're out of control!! But your truck looks awesome so its worth it :rofl:Question... do your headlights have a retrofit headlight to allow for low/high beam in that single projector? Or did you have it completely blacked out and don't worry about high beams? Just wondering because I love the all blacked out look but want to make sure I make the right choice. Thanks

I ran just the single low beams and yes the black buckets completely wipe out the high beams but does look amazing. I am going back in and swapping in bi-xenon (actually Bi-LED) projectors to get the high beams back in a week or two.

I have an order list for the LED projectors. I'll post it here in a bit.

Couple more updates. I got a set of free TRD OR springs from a local member and had them powdercoated red. The high clearance front bumper really allows a lot of spring to show so I took advantage of it. I also put the SPC UCAs on to get the alignment dialed.

I reopened the headlights up again and retrofit Morimoto MLED 2.0 Bi-LED projectors and Diode Dynamics DRLs.

I got my hand on these 2003 Billet KMC wheels on Craigslist for $300! They were from a show truck back in the day and never on the road. They also have OMF welded synth-locks aka wheel stiffeners custom welded on. Truly one of a kind. I wrapped Falken Wildpeak A/T3w 285x75r18 (35x11.5) around them.

Great build. Very subtle. Like the stance too, has some attitude.

I played around with hardware for the simulocks. These legit look like beadlocks now.
