 For that and good racing going on.

But, on the downside, I was watching the Ferrari pit where the pitman got nailed. Watched it in slow motion on the dvr, that guy’s leg has to be broke. It bent as the tire went over it. That definitely needs to get looked into.

I was about to post the same thing. His lower leg was destroyed. Hard to watch.

To make up for having no commercials, ESPN ignored the post race and give us some kind of high school cheerleading nonsense instead. Really? Who watches that shit. Shouldn't even be called a sport.

I'm sure the no commercials won't last, just a gift from ESPN for the FUBAR last race and give them some time to figure out how to integrate commercials. I wouldn't be surprised if they tested a handful of different ideas in the studio to see how it flowed while we got treated to a commercial free race.

And how long before Red Bull announces that they will be running Honda engines next year?

Just got through the very end on my recording and the very first commercial after the podium interviews was a Tacoma commercial

That poor Ferrari mechanic! Seems with all the issues with releases the digital systems might swap back to the lolipops?

Awesome driving by Vettel with done tires. But kind of funny thats two races in a row where he won by a sort of "fluke". First the VSC pitstop and then changing from a 2 stopper to a 1 stopper due to the broken leg. Doesnt take away from either win just kind of good luck so far!

    Great race by Gasly too!

and good job espn. We will see the next race though. But at least for their online streaming they had the pre-race, race, and post race

Brought to you by Mother's, THANK YOU MOTHER'S I AM GOING TO BUY YOUR STUFF! They gave us uninterrupted quali too.

Well driven race by Seb, his heart must have been in his throat. Like last year though this one race will completely revamp tire strategy for the rest of the year; not enough difference between compounds, and they last far longer than expected. One stoppers from here on out. Not sure about Max/Ham, looked to me like Ham could have given an inch without harm. Bottas needs to get a groove -- I really think it was his race to lose, and lose he did. McLaren need to shut up about engines methinks, and start finding out where their speed went. and :woot: Gasly! Great race, great weekend.

I also watched it on replay cuz shit dvr.

I too, am not a Seb fan, but damn that was fun to watch. He totally fight for that one and deserves it. I also loved the post race "cool down room" comment about Max. Such an entertaining race.

So fyi, if you haven't seen it, replays have commercials, but the chick that takes it to the comm break distinctly says "we will pick to the action right were we left off." Hats off ESPN.

I rewatched on ESPN's website and it played through with no commercials. I could have done without all the whining between Lewis and Team. Shut up and race. You should know what needs to be done in order to win without all the coaching from the team.

From what I understood they were having radio communication problems and couldn't hear each other (race engineers & Hamilton) but we could actually hear it pretty well.

They all "whine" that much back/forth between the pits. We just hear what F1 chooses to play to us. Recall last year it was Seb's comments -- rants -- that got lots of airtime. I agree it was too much from one driver, but apparently the producers felt as though that was where the action was.
