As soon as the broadcast starts, its THAT guy....Might just have to not watch this one

 

That was BRUTAL! All praise to the halo there. That nose was like a dart!

 

I think Stroll had a puncture on left rear already going into the corner

Boring race, again. Vettel was the class of the field for sure.

Lauda made an interesting comment after the race about reliability and the long season and why MB held back the new engine. But I think he was covering. They're very conservative when it comes to that stuff.

 

What do I win? Granted I was more expecting him to hit the Wall of Champions.

Did he have a puncture or did the rear just get loose on him?

I don't know if the team has weighed in on that.

I finally found a video on F1's Facebook page titled Canada 2018: All The Angles - Hartley and Stroll's First Lap Smash. At the 51 second mark the view is from the trailing Williams car. Hartley moves alongside the left of Stroll and Stroll pushed pushed him off the track on a shallow left hander. No contact. Hartley remains alongside through the following right hander and Stroll looses the rear on exit and collides. After watching that angle I don't think Stroll had a puncture and doubt he ever saw Hartley through either turn. Looks to me like he had tunnel vision focusing on the cars ahead of him until his aero quit and two races were ruined.

I wish Paul di Resta would have had that angle during his post race touch screen analysis where he seemed to gently point the finger at Hartley's decision making.

Friend said something this morning that cracked me up. Basically that when you have a supermodel for either sex or as a flag waver there is always the chance of an embarrassing premature finish.

 

that's a 'had to be there' joke but i still get it.

 

their race to lose. finally Fernando gets a little of the Lewis Hamilton thing for a weekend.. for what it's worth to him (probably not much).
