Rumour mill has Force India going into administration (bankruptcy) this week with Lawrence Stroll then purchasing the team and Lance Stroll moving there for next season

 

Maybe Mclaren or Williams should buy it?

Vijay Mallya is negotiating with the Government of India to return voluntarily and settle his debts. Seems like this chapter in Sahara Force India needs some closure.

Force India has done a remarkable job considering their financial situation and limited budget. It will be interesting to see how they do with that monkey off their backs. I wonder which driver will get the boot to make way for Lance?

 

I read they would consider releasing Ocon to make room for Stroll but who knows. By the end of the season one will outshine the other. For Stroll's sake I just hope he can perform in a better car.

 

For all either of us know he could have a brother named Ricky and drives a Caddy.

Poor Bottas....though he just doesnt seem to have the pace

 

If MB had pitted Bottas when Kimi went in for the second time, Bottas would have been on the podium. If MB had left Bottas out on the same rotation as Hamilton, Bottas would have been on the podium. WTF Mercedes. Bottas is rightfully upset IMO.

I don't quite understand Red Bull. Renault and McLaren are not having the same number of engine failures; is it Red Bull's packaging? Is Renault really giving them second rate power units? Hard to say exactly what is going on there. Regardless, Ricciardo drove brilliantly. Even got fastest lap.

 

Well also Red Bull is using a different fuel supplier than Renault and McLaren maybe that has something to do with it

 

Meh didn't think their strat was bad. Pitting is always a risk....just look at both kimi and vettlel's first stops....or if they had pitted vettel while he still had a bigger lead over bottas so even the slow pit wouldn't have mattered.

Do they use different gearbox suppliers maybe? Maybe that's why rb has issues but other teams don't?

 

Ouch. Time penalty isn't much of a surprise, but the license points are perhaps a bit much.
