I think they would go to a totally different concept like the Aeroscreen , but I actually like the Halo better anyway , at least the driver is still in the elements

They say they got rid of the 'shark fin'. So what do they call that huge thing behind the intake? Maybe a 'billboard'?

I'm withholding judgement on the halo until I see it in motion.

 

I think the track version of the halos may still change. I remember several teams adding aero to them. They don't want to reveal too much yet.

 

I don't think the halo is super attractive, but I can see why the FIA thinks they need them.

 

I'm still not a huge fan of the halos but I do have to say that painted up with the car's livery they blend in a lot better.

I don't think the bubbas will flock to F1 due to coverage but maybe some will. The rest will just refocus on television showing bass fishin, how ta do ole changes, preachin, and Fox News. Especially with some snooty sounding Brit announcing who would never bring up baby Jesus or the supremacy of Budweiser products.

Not a fan of NASCAR today. They used to show NASCAR in New Zealand in the late 70's early 80's, when they were real cars

 

I've tried multiple times to watch NASCAR and it is just so painfully slow and long. If the races didn't take 5 hours with the majority of it wholly unexciting I might be able to watch them but it's like watching paint dry for most of the race.

I was a NASCAR fan from the early 80's until the "Car of Tomorrow"....

Now it just pains me the coverage NASCAR gets and the limited tv coverage of other forms of motor sports. Like MotoGP, its been a few years now that its been on.
