Hey all - I've got a 2018 TRD OR that I do take off road quite a bit. ~68K mi. I plan to drive it until either it or me gives up. :)

Not hardcore rock crawling, but loads of off highway travel down various quality gravel roads, two tracks through sagebrush/various desert landscapes, rocky old mining roads etc.

On both the passenger and driver side, the front quarter panel and bumper are separating with a fairly minor but notable crack on each as shown. The lower portion of the bumper cover is loose as well (the plastic rivets seem to be loosening over time).

I have not hit anything or been hit by anything. This is worsening over the last 10-12 months. Last year when I asked a shop about it, they suggested it would be ~$1700 to replace everything. In the long run, I'd like a proper off road bumper with a winch.

I run stock wheels with K02s, and about a 1.5" lift with Icon shocks front/rear. I don't plan on changing the wheel size, really love the K02s, and am happy with the suspension.

So - asking the "hive mind" here - Given the info above...
    1) Would you worry about this enough to do something?
    2) What would you do and why...
    A) Replace as is.
    B) Order new bumper - if so, which one and why?
    C) Get custom bumper built
    3) Stop worrying and drive it until the damn thing falls off. :)

Thanks in advance for any help; I appreciate all opinions/thoughts.

Most off-road bumpers make you cut the plastic bumper cover and reuse the corner portion. The cut line location varies depending on the vendor.

If I were in your shoes, when I buy an off-road bumper, I'd also buy an aftermarket plastic bumper cover at the same time to cut up (about $90 plus shipping on Rock Auto). Until then, drive it as-is.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the help. I didn't realize that about the cutting of the plastic bumper cover and reuse of the corner portion. This is very helpful.
