Was the 18 grille removal as easy for everyone as the video posted on #210? I removed mine and it seems like there are fasteners down low that didn't want to let go.. felt like I was going to rip off the bumper with it lol

First removal was pretty difficult but the second time was much easier.

PM me your zip and I'll figure out a cost. Should be cheap because it's a light item. I'll send you a picture in a PM.

So the screws within the video were the only ones on the 18 as well? No lower attachments?

Yes, two screws and two push pins on the top then pull from the bottom. The bottom is held in by push pins that you have to overcome by pulling.

It's a Toyota part so the letters are part of the grill. The radar sensor would not come with the grill and neither would the garnish.

I used needle nose to pull/unscrew them.

If you want the sensor that’s located in the middle of the grille to function, you’ll have to figure out how to mount it. You’d have to be creative otherwise I’m afraid it’ll look like shit behind that grille.

You wont be able to use that grill because it doesn't have the mount to attach the sensor. Fabricating to make a safety device work wouldn't be a good idea.

Not to mention that's a metal grill.. not sure how the sonar radar will work through metal.

It won't. When the radar calibration is done you can even have any metal in front of the vehicle for approx 20' if memory serves me correctly.
