Hey, to the new guys with the dilemma on the garnish/insert recalibration etc.......Installed OEM Pro Grille 16'/17' on my new 18'OR, its been a week now and with the insert in place(no garnish) I've had no errors since about the first 5 minutes of driving then it seemed to adjust to the sensor being mounted behind the ribbed insert and have had no errors since.Point being try your Pro grille with the insert intact ,it looks better then the garnish and if it works like mine has so far you save the cost of buying the garnish. The 16'/17' OEM grille is more expensive then the hard to get but less expensive OEM 18' grille but looks great with the insert. Go OE Toyota if you can, better color, stronger plastic more resistant to staining when using bug cleaners etc........hope this helps!!

sounds good, trying to avoid the wait times and "may or may not be complete" with the knock offs

damn that looks way better, i like it better without the shiny little square piece you have to get with the '18 grill...so correct if i'm wrong because clearly i have no real idea and am only guessing because no one around where i live has done this, but it looks like it would be swap out the grills and hook up the sensor, right? any link to where you got yours, and tips if you can.. looks great by the way

Here we go guys!! 2018 OR here and here’s what I did. Amazon $150 grille (looks perfect!). Installed it in 35 mins tops, fit great! Drove to work and my light came on, ok. Called my local Toyota dealer and ordered the OEM garnishment. It didn’t line up, so I took me about an hour to fab it in. No light since the garnishment install, you decide how it looks.

I personally like the look of the garnishment over the plain black grille, I think it ads a tad bit of class...
