My grill on 17 PRO has that part in front of the grill that is moving when touched and can be removed from the back to install the TSS module. I believs that all original PRO grills are like that.

It's the ACC/FCW light. Pretty much any system where that radar plays a role.

So you guys have me all over the place! I've got an '18 OR that I want to put a Pro grille on, but can't figure out if I'll be able to put a '17 Pro grille on, or have to wait for an '18 Pro grille.

The reason Toyota puts the plexi on the outside of the grille is so snow/dirt/grime don't get packed into those spots while your driving and block the radar. It does look way better the way you have it rigged though.

yes they have me all over the place also. I been told multiple times that the 2018 pro grill is. a new grill with slight changes to fit the sensor. Here in this pic you can see some differences.

in the last pic you can see it has a cover to protect the sensor on the inside something the 17 pro grill doesnt have. Also in the new one the area where the plexi glass goes is flat on the new one

So far I'm with ya. My main question is the sensor. The grilles are different yes, with the '18 having the plexiglass on the outside. But even if I bought a '17 Pro Grille, would I be able to mount my sensor to it? I've read that I can. And if not, even if I purchase an '18 Pro Grille, is it just plug and play from my OR sensor? That's mainly what I was getting at. I've seen those pics for a while, but thx for the post! We'll get this sorted out! haha

You can mount the sensor no problem but for my issue the sensor is seing something, as of now imma put my oem to see if the sensor will still play right way.

Nope the sensor is clean, the issue is when i mount it on pro grill, i will find out later coz i just put back the oem grill, oh FYI for anyone will try to removed the trd pro grill ; good luck its hard to removed it bacause theres 2 tabs on upper left and right are bigger the holes itself , its design to hold the grill secure

I would think it was said Plexiglass. Those sensors are sensitive. Did you put a piece of Plexiglass between the sensor and the grille? or just mount it directly?
