2018 Jeep Wrangler JL & Scrambler JT

Picture from the assembly line. The JL will have turn signals in the mirrors and conventional door handles (similar to the Taco) without the pushbutton. There's a small fender vent. Compared to the JK, the doors have more sculpting around the beltline. The fender flare looks to be manufactured by Rubbermaid

 

I'd rather have a good used FJ myself...but that's just me.

 

FJs are pointless without a SA though.

 

2 door Ecodiesel Rubicon may replace the Taco for me unless they really just shit the bed with the details.

 

Would an S-shaped dipstick tube be considered a shit-the-bed detail? What if it has start-stop tech?

Automatic climate control in a Wrangler!

 

Goofy, but no. New engines don't even need dipstick if they're built right. Drive the mileage interval, drain, refill, repeat. I've never needed to pull the the stick on my Tacoma.

Stop-start is dumb but as long as it's defeatable, I'm okay with it. Might not even defeat it if it works.
