for the low price of 75 grand. atleast where I live. that's pretty mental for a truck that's going to be in the shop for a rear main leak and broken air ride in 6 months

The problem, they break down much faster than the higher end.

I'm always amazed at my brother's trucks when he gets them, so nice, top of the line Silverado and Tahoe. 3 years later, they are complete junk.

Yeah, but who wants a truck with an interior that nice except maybe the soy latte sipping crowd? I do truck stuff dammit and don't want to worry about getting dirt on some damn Gucci interior.

You're smoking some good shit :rasta:

I've heard people say the same thing about Kia, those same people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between vinyl/bonded leather/full grain hide, to them its all "luxury" lol.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm okay with my first Gen, bland interior but no matter what I do with my truck, I would never complain about having a super nice interior. Which would you rather have... Dirty normal interior or dirty gucci-level interior? I'll take the latter.

I still think the Jeep truck will be more of a threat to the Tacoma instead of the ranger. The Jeep will be sold as a lifestyle vehicle, Ford has the F150 to herd customers into and the transit connect for florists and contractors to buy.

I've never had a soy latte. Make my own coffee from a $30 Mr. Coffee maker.

I do however like International Delight vanilla cream in my strong ass coffee. :D

That 3,500 towing capacity is laughable. It'll be interesting to see if jeep improves on that. I'm guessing it's not much better if they do.

It is indeed. I don't often see Jeep's towing anyways. I have no idea if it's because of or in spite of the ratings though.

What is there to tow under 3000lbs? Not much. The dump trailer I pull weighs 3500 before anything goes in it.

Most single axle trailers are rated to 3k pounds. Pop up campers, expedition trailers, lots of stuff.

Exactly. Then you put 1000-1500 pounds worth of stuff in them.

The new JT Scrambler is being spec'd with a 6500LB Towing Capacity and a payload of 1100-1400 lbs. in line with other trucks of its category

The Wrangler has 3500 lbs of towing.

I don't claim to be an expert on leather, but I was seriously impressed with the 2019 Ram Limited. Everything felt well put together from the gorgeous center console to the immaculate rear seats. Even the buttons and toggle switches had a quality high-end feel. I remember the doors had soft-touch leather, and I do remember some nice hand-stitched leather.

Was is genuine-leather trash or was it the same level as my calf-skin Allen Edmunds shoes? I don't know. I couldn't tell.

If I wasn't one of the biggest FCA/DSM/Dodge haters in the world, I would have bought one that day and traded in my Tacoma.
