Just put a deposit down on an '18 pro super white. Super excited. Dealer had no info what so ever on price or when it will come in tho. So just a waiting game now.

Here are a few 2018 High Res Cement OR from the Pressroom. Sounds like this is the model\color everyone wants.

We got my wife a 17 Highlander a few months ago. The adaptive cruise control has 3 settings that determine how much space your vehicle will maintain between another in front of you. It is automatically set to give the most distance of the 3 settings when you activate it, but it's fairly easy to switch to setting 1 or 2 to give less room in-between you and the person in front of you. It is a nice feature for long drives on mostly highway/interstate. It is also easy to deactivate and turn back on like cruise control or anything else. Like others have mentioned, if you don't like it then just don't turn it on.

My friendly advice: have patience and see if 2018 has any major improvements on Pro trim. If so, what are they bringing 17 Pro prices down to? I bought mine less than a month ago (from a SE Toyota dealer) and paid MSRP. I doubt you'll find a dealer that will sell a Pro below invoice, possibly 17 Pros after 18s drop *maybe*

Also one thing to consider... a new color (calvary blue) will be available on the 18 Pro trim only so if having a limited color is a selling point for you go that route (since cement will now be on TRD-OR/Sport trims moving forward)

Would you be able to change colors down the line if you decide for example you really like the new blue?

I think the 18 Pro will be exactly the same as the 17 except it will have TSS-P.

I doubt it because reservations for the pro at my dealer are first come first serve. So unless no one wanted a blue 5 months down and they still are taking orders, then maybe you can change. Then again though, you give up your spot in line for that different color.

Sorry if it's been mentioned before, but when will the 2018s be hitting the lots?

Should see them in the next week or two....they will be well hidden in the back lot until the 2017's are gone. Unless it's a Cement OR. In that case, it will be proudly displayed on some sort of make-shift ramp or hill in the front of the lot. :)

Thanks Tincan. I've been trying to hold off on buying until the 2018s are out.

I wonder how the radar cruise will work with the taco transmission? Shifts like crazy as is so might be crazier with changing speeds especially traffic.

Well, if you don't like Leather or TSS, the deals on the 2017's are amazing right now. I was very tempted...but I like creature comforts so I'm going '18
