Hey it's almost friday, which means it's almost raceday, which means if you're lucky enough, you can bulldoze someone and win the 500. So you're day can't be that bad.

 

I just want to make this clear real quick before someone quote posts me about Dillon dumping Almirola, it is absolutely unacceptable to do what Dillon did on a superspeedway vs. Mile and a half and lower, the speeds and g forces are much greater and to do that shows the lack of skill and driver awareness the Dillon has so much of. The end. NASCAR wants to be about safety then praises this Dillon win and practically calls him Earnhardt, give me a break.

 

I'l be camping at a church a mile down the road, I always just wing it and buy tickets while I'm there, reminds me of the good ol days

 

Sorry to insult you @Wolftaco , I had too much to drink, I'd never stoop so low as to compare you to Austin Dillon. Plz. Forgive.

Nice, I'll be there around 12:30. Driving a van so I have to go slower. I have 7-8 going. We'll be there all day. Gonna find a shady perch and kick back at the dogleg to T1. Here was our perch last year:

Hope they can get the race in, but it's looking like a Monday afternoon finish for you guys.

 

Loaded up the church van. Left 45 minutes late because one kid forgot to ask his mom about going. Gas tank was empty ($68). Van overheated ten miles from the track. Pushed it to auto shop. Blown water pump, radiator cap, coolant looked like Yoo-hoo. A dude named Fred in an Escalade gave all 8 of us a ride to the track. I gave him $40 for his troubles. Ticket guy was not replying to my texts. We missed first 12 laps. Lady walks up and hands us an envelope full of free tickets. Seated by lap 16. Beautiful day at the track.

Edit: $307 van repair. Our budget for the trip was $100 staff meeting should be great next week.

I know you love Kyle, @thewarriordinghy , but check your lugnuts before leaving the track. BTW, Kyle Busch’s chassis for his next race:

 

Kyle should fire himself. He is the one who drove off and changed the plan on the fly.
