World of Outlaw Craftsman Late Model Series at Lavonia Speedway tomorrow night! I'm on the fence about going. This is one of the premier dirt late model races in the South. $30 a ticket.

Wow! Quite a finish at Dover today. Yesterday wasn't too shabby either. Think tomorrow's race will feature a show?

I bet it goes all electric. Spec electric series within 3 years. Manufacturers are threatening to pullout if NASCAR doesn't make one touring series electric. NASCAR refused to turn any of their top-3 into electric series and that wouldn't float in the K&N series.

 

RIP arca. Fuck Electric motors. I watch stock cars to see a fucking gas v8 race.

 

I'm just assuming all this. I *do* have a connection with Toyota and Interstate Batteries. We haven't spoken in a while but I'll try to touch base and get some details. He's over NASCAR and moved on to dirt late models and winged stuff. And honestly, more people should. There's a lot of growth potential over there. Blue collar heroes, dynasties, rabid following.

 

Everyone needs to follow the cars tour for asphalt. Yeah that Electric Crap will be the beginning of the end. I refuse to watch formula E because its all electric.

 

Dude, Formula E is pretty cool. Each car has a distinct engine sound (unlike NASCAR). Yeah, it's not exploding fossil fuels, but it's still racing.

 

RC cars is not REAL racing. I wont buy an electric car either. Ill build my own before go electric.

The future is here, my dude. Love it or hate it. Did you see Roush is building all electric F-650 work trucks now? How about those new hydrogen powered Nikola Budweiser trucks? I think they look pretty cool.

I for one welcome the potential for hybrid, hydrogen, or electric Tacomas in the future. Especially with gas beginning its long, slow climb again.

 

Get rid of the Fake epa and let the free market decide. I for one want my loud motors or bust... Like u said plenty of other racing... Cars tour and PASS won't move to electric, and if nascar did with cup, then I'd move on.

We walked the entire stretch of stands last night and the only piece of merch for the defending Cup champion was ONE TEE SHIRT. There was more updated stuff than Atlanta in February, but I'm finding the souvenir booths lacking this season.

Truck race was decent. Weather was perfect. I like how Kyle Busch was sticking it to folks post-race on twitter. Kiddo bought a Blaney car. Moffitt can drive the wheels off those trucks.

We went to the HoF and finally found a 1:64 Truex car. Oh- the HoF adds a $5 premium to everything you could buy at the track. HoF was alright. The main hall is the best part. Overall, it's much smaller than I thought it would be. Most of the place is sensory overload, but there are some neat artifacts here and there among the interactive stuff. Honestly, the place doesn't capture the essence of Cup racing like the Talladega and Darlington Museums do. My next museum destination is the Winston Cup museum in Winston-Salem.

Hendrick shop had used tires for $25 and sheet metal 40% off.

 

May as well be dead with the dumbass fans wanting restrictor plates at everything 1.5mile and bigger. That was the stupidest thing ive ever seen... Although the Indy time trials were way better... Unrestricted motors...
