I didn't even know that, as I've just got too much in life going on to pay attention to motorsports. I think it was around lap 20 that I asked the wife if she thought it seemed like the cars were going slow. I was like, are they racing Xfinity cars or some shit? She didn't know, then they mentioned the restrictor plates. I really wasn't convinced that it was the whale tails on the trunk lid slowing them down but it did produce drafting, which was incredibly moronic. Leave that to the big tracks and let aero racing and horsepower win races. It was more like a damned IROC race than a cup race. Just pick your drivers, put them in X car and let them go at it. That was boring.

Well look at that. Dillon did what Dillon does. Running 16th and drilled the wall.

LOL, yeah what a boring excuse for a race for the 2nd year in a row!

NASCAR's answer has always been restrictor plates! Seems "the more things change, the more they stay the same!"

On a funny side note, I remember back in the late 80s at Talladega, one of the commentators asked the drivers if they could race any car that day, what would it be? All the drivers wanted a really ugly T-bird with a big wing on top. Then they asked Richard petty what he would like to drive that day, he didn't blink an eye, he just said, "a 70 Super Bird!" The Winged Warriors, your reign was cut way to short.

They better not put them anywhere other than Talladega and Daytona. Cars tour has plenty of action.... Indy and F1 are on the upswing... NASCAR might lose my money if they go to plates everywhere

Well that was a fun finish, eh? Listened on the radio. Last thirty laps sounded fun. Just saw the replay. It made me smile.

I absolutely love the people crying about Kyle Busch's post race interview.... Bunch of fake fans who dont understand that the 18 and the 42 just both pulled out shades of Dale SR like theyve been crying about wanting for years...

That finish was a modern day classic. A defining moment for the Kyles, and hope for the future.

I don't blame the 18 but if you are going to make that move on KB you are going to have to dump him for the win.

I never thought I would say this, but I love the crying whining sarcasm Kyle did after his win. I ate myself for loving it but I do.

Also, I was hoping Larson was gonna just turn him instead of pinning him there, but oh well.

It was a good race, truly a good race through the field, but I am just getting bored of the harvick, busch, truex combo every 1.5 mile race. Feels like we in the 70s

I have a spare ticket to the CUp qualifying and the Xfinity race tomorrow night. If you're local, be my guest. Top of the track. Start-finish line.
