    basically most districts dirt roads are closed from 1/1 to april or may or longer for some trails unless other wise posted. You can be sited for it and in Eldorado they do inforce it. As we have heard.

    I didn't see anything, only snow I saw was on the horizon the big peaks going into Tahoe....But yeah, area was totally dry for the most part

    Actually you take the MET road all the way up, no turning off of it, it will end at hwy 88.
    If the road has snow, or they decide to shut the gates at the 88 section prepared for winter, which is why they say road is closed.

    They use the closed gated area as a snow park from entering from the 88 side.
    Mainly snow mobil load/unload area. Turn offs from Silver fork rd ( 07 ) above, from sly park side, are cross country ski trails, look for the metal signs mounted on the trees 12-15' above ground level.

    You didn't follow the main road far enough up, but, more than likely, not enough snow up there to enjoy or worth the time.

    Appreciate your guys efforts and time to do this.

    Im doing good. Off the crutches now. Izzy made me feel bad yesterday cuz i wouldnt shoot hoops, so i went outside and did what fernando does...lol. Bad idea. I was in alot of pain. Needless to say, ill be hanging out on the couch till im better. I dont have to go back to work till mid February. Its kinda nice not being stressed. Haha
