    hmmm

good luck, they're supposed to close 100 acres immediately. Keep your eyes open, it will be far more dangerous.

I'm so sick of people like that. In monterey a bunch of rich people decided to move next to and develop near Laguna seca and decided afterwards they don't like race track noise so instead of moving they are trying to close the track. If you don't like the smell of rich fuel, shredded tire, noise of braaaap and happiness move away.
Then these people vs pismo are complaining about the dust the park creates. Sure some areas don't have vegetation but the park is so much smaller than it used to be. And you expect me to believe some atv, buggies and trucks are creating so much dust that it's hard to breathe? Lol that's called wind...its at every beach. In the Sahara they even have sand storms. If you don't like sand wind happiness and salt...dont live at the beach.

:annoyed: I feel bad for all the people that have spent money on the toys for that place. A lot of people I know go there with their families to enjoy the weekend and have fun in the sand. Hell, when I go to Pismo. I just putt around and sit at camp and drink beer and enjoy the weather while my youngest boy plays in the sand.

but seriously... if a bunch of detuned rental atvs, some side by sides and trucks make so much dust they can't breathe then the rest of us must have super powers. I mean I am personally against it I grew up in a beach town and back in the 70s when they sold those beaches they were converted into golf courses and condos and even sand factories were built to ship the sand to Hawaii cause tourists don't like reef and coral beaches. Stories of how killer the surf used to be are like legends of old folk lore. It's only a matter of time before that happens there too.

And we saw lots of cops on the beach enforcing this time. I have never ever seen that many rangers there in last 5-6 I have been going there. Same thing happen to a shooting range by my house. People complained about noise and lead water seeping in to Lake Chabot so they closed the range

I think this is turning in to political show because committee members know local people will vote them out if they don't close the dunes.

By the way, I will be going back to Pismo on Memorial day weekend if anyone wants to join. I will be going there with family and kids this time. It will be crowded and lots of drunk drivers, but it will be fun as always.

Edit: If anyone is planning on going be sure to purchase the tickets right away because they get sold quickly for long weekends.

Chabot was closed simply because the Left doesn't like guns. EIR's were filed. Mitigation was planned. East Bay Regional Parks Dept didn't care. They forced the gun range closure.

True. It was one of the most beautiful range I had ever been too! It's shame that CA is closing all the fun spots like ranges, Pismo, and Laguna Secca :der:

Not enough to have a build thread.
    Congrats on being street legal!

I'm kind of neurotic about all my vehicle work, especially AC. I'm assuming you mean you had the ac system recovered before you opened it up? Or was it vacuumed down after doing work? If you wanna talk about your AC, I'd say in person or over the phone would be easiest vs TW.

Basically, if you opened the system but didn't replace any components or lines, it shouldn't need much/ any oil added. Maybe .5 oz to be on the safe side. Look as the decal that gives you the total amount needed for the system before adding any though. Vacuum it down (ford specifies 30 in of hg for 45 min). Then charge. Charging is done by weight. Unless you're old school and can do it by pressure, but that's too inaccurate for me. I could probably sneak it into my work on the weekend and recharge it for ya. I really want to get an AC machine for at home. Makes the side work opportunities open up a bit more.

@FirstTimeFirstGen speaking of ac not worwork, David I need to pressure test my AC system on my commuter car so I can see if it has a leak and fix it then recharge. Is that something you have the tools to look at for me? I would like to get that done. Pm me a price man.
