#wifey and I are heading to the expo tomorrow too.
Thinking we'll pass on Sunday's adventure. Still no armor, and plenty of projects at home to get done.

It’s tiny. Couple rock courses, cement staircase, that’s about it lol. But I’m gonna get some 4lo time. Bringing sheet metal nips and a BFH :oldglory:

Edit - if you went around the 4x4 area perimeter in 4lo 1st gear, it would take you about 4.5 minutes :p

It's not too bad in a camper shell either, when the wife and I were at Grand Canyon recently it got down to 14° at night. Woke up to find little icicles dropping g down from the roof of the shell, but we were cozy.

There is no bad weather. Only bad clothes.

In Norwegian it’s - Det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær. I’ve heard that rhymes. Anyone speak Norwegian here?

The coldest I’ve camped in a tent was winter solstice in Vermont. It was -15F. I was chilled but not cold.

More recently, Helen Lake, Mt Shasta 20F, winds gusting to 120mph. We dug a big hole and stuck the tent in the hole and barely noticed the wind. It’s a Black Diamond HiLight. It’s tiny and weighs nothing and suffers from condensation but it’ll take crazy wind.

    Maybe It should be:
“There is no bad weather. Only bad clothes and tents”
