I see both sides. But surely I am a fan on a few trucks. 3-4 max or its too busy to really relax. If you like crowds, stop and go, and noise, sure, big groups are fun. It's personal preference. To each his own.

It took 6 hours to go through eagle lakes and I sat for 3 of those hours waiting for the group of 16 to get through. No thanks.

WHAT??? So you are telling me Toyota lied to me? I know for a fact my truck has "OFF-ROAD" sticker on it and people told me my stock truck can even drive to moon if I want to let alone Rubicon...lol...I know what you mean man. I guess people should be more prepared and should know what their trucks can and can't do. It's no fun when you sit there and keep pulling people out and after while it gets frustrating.

Am I the only one who had fun that trip? Fresh tracks, watching @Fernando go fuckin ham uphill, almost driving off a cliff (twice ), winching, strapping, pulling, road building, ice-bathing the truck, shooting guns, seriously frozen feet, and BEER. Whats not to love? :notsure:

    I'd go again in a heartbeat with 15/16 of y'all :ohsnap: :p

I was the absolutely last person so all I saw was Jays ass. Which I’m not complaining but after 6 hours I needed some fresh meat.

Large groups are fun if there is no rush on time. when Time becomes an issue frustration builds and others feel the pressure. If your on a short time frame then small groups are good. If your plan is to do a large group Time should be highly considered.
I have never been to gold lake so i have no clue on the time it would take there. But summer trips compared to snow trips dont compare. Ive been stuck behind retards in the snow that had no business there, you typically don't see that on hard trials. But it still happens.
I just want to hang and fish at Gold lake, bring the kyak and chill. I havnt seen any good pics of a good 4x4 trial there
I know the snake loop is there but it looked to be more of a rutted up fire road from what ive seen.
Anyone have some good insight on the trail.

Mostly pretty easy. Snake Lake Loop has a couple of hard sections, the hardest right above the lake. A big ledge(s) to climb wedged right between two trees known as the 'goalposts'. Walked that section but didnt run the truck. We all turned around. I'd prob do it now

Not my pic and hard to see, but here

So my buddy owned a tree cutting service in the north bay. Sent me this picture of a bird he found impaled in a palm tree he cut down today. F3E35FFD-E280-4501-A3D5-BA8D5E6435BB.jpg
