    Maybe we'll skip the eastern sierra side and see if we can get lucky with a walk-in camping site in yosemite for the rest of the week/weekend.

    Yosemite is pretty fantastic just after a snow storm. The valley is an ashtray in the summer. I think winter is the best time to go.

    I spent yesterday and this morning in the valley. It’s pretty quiet. Not sure if the campsites are closed or what but it should be easy to get a spot.
    Tioga and glacier road are definitely closed. They had signs everywhere.

    Precip hasn’t started yet though.
