you guys would be able to cover more water and go more places with kayaks. there easy to set up for fishing or you can spent a ton on ones that are already set up. I'm setting up mine to do some ocean fishing.

I'm talking about ocean and any water you can drive to at least walking distances.i have wheels that go under one end of my kayak so as long as there is a decent trail to water I'm in. now those broke back places I'm never going to go no its not for that that. but as far as covering more areas kayaks are the way o go. from ocean to rivers and most lakes. there versatile. and there is back pack options just not the same. float tubes are lame you have to walk to said area and your not floating far from that area. just bring waders. you could cover just as much area with less gear. those areas are not all that deep and only good fishing in colder weather.

I know what you mean, better for the areas your talking about.

Were into more of them secluded, nobody goes to, backwoods lakes.

Yeah i swore i never saw any gates either. The bridge is out and the road is "closed" but alot of people have just driven through the creek bed around the bridge. I would do no such thing :spy:
