No , not officially. I called my friend at Toyota to order my 18 and all he could tell me was that the order banks open on June 1 and all the 18 Tacoma's will have the updated safety sence system and a new pro color ?

You will pay for it later in life. I spent plenty of time around heavy machinery and air force jet engines. The JBL is more than adequate and well balanced but I'm no longer in my 20s and wanting to blow my eardrums out.

I have to chime here as I agree with this post 1000%. When I bought my '99 KC (over 18 years ago!) I quickly installed a "heavy duty" Rockford Fosgate system (back when RF was all made in the USA and not crap) with a 10" JL audio sub behind the drivers seat. This stereo absolutely continues to rock but I don't crank it (much) any more. Years of that stereo, loud headphones, shooting, playing guitar, concerts, bar bands all with no hearing protection has left me with 24x7 ringing in my ears. Usually I can ignore it but sometimes not..

I'm 50 years old and still enjoy all the pre-mentioned activities however now I use common sense along with the best hearing protection money can buy. I have a DCLB with tech and premium (JBL) on order. The JBL will be just fine for my needs. Protect your hearing kiddies! Coming from an ex metal head who was in his 20's in the 1980's cranking music and playing loud guitar every day. Trust me on this one.

2018 Pro comes in black metallic now, JBL will be available in 2019...but still no moon roof.
DCLB Pro in Black, 6spd manual w JBL & moon roof is my ideal rig...too bad Toyota doesn’t make it.

Over priced when most people end up changing out most of the parts that make it a Pro lol.

Agree with all comments about JBL system, NOT worth it, it was a waste of money. I recently replaced the entire system with aftermarket for better quality, the factory JBL made it so much harder due to that stupid little amp. Look at these speakers!! Dumb. If you're an audio guy look at other options.D0B5137E-087A-431A-8F83-D4250C055339.jpgD6643A15-48FB-48D1-9528-3D1FD7FFE3FF.jpg

When people shit on the JBL I always wonder how they are playing the music from their device. I notice a huge difference in sound quality and how loud the music is depending whether or not I’m listening over Bluetooth or the data port (usb). There really is a pretty big noticeable difference.

I’m a fan of the factory JBL system. Clean and darn good sound quality. Also prefer the moonroof. I’d recommend the OR.

Well you’d have to of course by the premium audio package...but I figured that went without saying.

That is not what I was saying my friend, it is an unavailable option with manual transmission models.

Haha OK...so you don’t have a choice in that situation. In other words, when you do, it’s a fine option if you ask me.
