    Howdy all,

After a month of waiting, my 2018 TRD Sport cement grey with the upgraded package (Canada) finally arrived at the dealership today. Just drove it home and was in the process of stoneguarding it, I noticed that there are no parking sensors (rear camera is present though). The website doesn't specifically mention parking sensors, but it does mention "backup camera with rear cross traffic alert". How can there be cross traffic alert when there are no sensors present? I called the dealer and they assured me that I have the "sport upgrade package" and the sensors are only available as on the Limited models (the Limited they had on the showroom floor did have the sensors on them when I was checking it out). I also notice on my dash centre stack that there is an empty button where the parking sensor on/off switch should be. Anyone else with the Sport upgrade package can confirm? Or is the dealer telling me some BS? Thanks!

    SC

Hmmm, my 17 came with parking sensors. I also had the navigation package, no premium jbl. Blind spot monitoring and cross traffic are different sensor. Bsm are located I believe in the corner of the bumper caps.

I'll check mine. Pretty sure I heard my parking sensor going off last night when I backed up fast.

Unfortunately not. The way Toyota packages it for Canada, this is the top package for the Sport. I would’ve actually purchased a TRD Pro if cement gray was available for the 2018 model year....plus it’s difficult in finding a Pro model up here as we weren’t allocated too many. And I didn’t really want the Limited trim....too much chrome.

Still no parking sensors on the OR. Plus the Canadian OR only comes in a SB...kinda wanted the LB to haul around my bikes and kayaks.

Alittle late for this but I have a 16 TRD sport with premium package of the time. Mine came with everything but leather seats.
