I have had this problem since I brought my 2018 4X4 Sport home, in June.
So far the Service dept has acted like they’ve never heard of it.
At last service I asked, can you reflash the ecu chip or something? Of course it’s not on NOW, because I’m at the service department.
Now it’s escalated. “Cruise Control Malfunction” “Visit Dealer”
I’m pretty fed up with this trifling bullshit.
I wish I had my Wrangler back.
Shit transmission, low power, constant exclamation mark lights popping up.
I’m disgusted, I’ll be at Service tomorrow, with low expectations.

just a thought or two. it won't fix heavy snow fooling the sensor but grime accumulating on it (as happened to me in slushy conditions on interstate) maybe could be washed off
by running a (restricted) hose off the windshield washer hoses. if it turns off, use the washer to squirt some washer fluid on it. might be an interesting DIY.
would washer fluid hurt plastic parts/lens? would be a good thing to be able to turn this feature off until it is needed. some kind of valve/solenoid?
edit: maybe not so useful on the fly as you may have to power cycle the truck to get it to reset but could be useful and a fun hack.

Sounds so simple doesn’t it? We use all sorts of ways to keep sensors clean at work. Fact is there is no replacement for manual cleaning.

I'm receiving 3 malfunction messages on my 2019 TRD Sport: Lane Departure Alert, Pre-Collision System & Headlight System. The malfunction messages all say to "Visit Your Dealer". Unfortunately, they can't replicate the issue, and I can't make it happen. Have a case open with Toyota, but they're completely unwilling to even take a look at the issue. 3 pics attached showing malfunction messages. Any thoughts? I'm really struggling with this, as the dealership and Toyota are not willing to work with me.

Took 2019 TRD Sport to the dealership for pre-collision and radar cruise control malfunctions. The sensor would not take the upgrade required by the recall so the dealer is ordering a new sensor. Excellent service.

My 2018 TRD OR did this to me for the first time on Saturday...the first thing I noticed was that my average MPG meter below my speed reset randomly, then pulling into work my PCS off light came on. I didn’t reset anything or do anything different that morning. They did just release a recall on the sensor the other day... maybe that’s it? The MPG reset pissed me off though, I was getting my best average of 2019!

Wow, I remember the day you got in a vehicle and just drove. No sensors, no screens, no gizmos at all. Now we complain if one of these gizmos is not functioning even though the vehicle still drives great. My 2015 Taco does not have the gizmos the latest trucks have and I'm glad it doesn't. Works great just the way it is. Less to worry about!

Anything ever come of this? Happened to me today, first day of a 2 week road trip lol. Was about 2ish hours into a drive after lunch, about 45097 miles total on the odometer, with radar cruise active. Cruise just stopped and I started coasting, the same warnings popped up and beeped at me. I turned the lda off and that warning stopped, but couldn't get the pcs or headlight thing to stop. Drove for another couple hours because there's nothing in Wyoming. Stopped at a gas station to fill up, cleaned the windshield and the sensor on the grill. The warnings weren't there when I turned the truck back on. Only drove another 12ish miles to the hotel I'm staying at tonight, but didn't see any more warnings.

I checked under the hood, nothing seems broken or frayed. Everything is plugged in right.

I'll check some fuses, idk if that's it.

The only thing that I can think of that would be different electrical wise is plugging in an iphone charger into the USB thing in the center console. The USB by the air conditioner stuff stopped working not long before these warnings. Was listening to a podcast, unplugged it, and it wouldn't send data after that. Maybe it is a fuse. Haven't tried it in awhile though.

Truck is pretty stock. I got new tires in November, but same size as stock. I have a bit more weight than normal being a 2 week trip, but nothing crazy.
