2018 smell through heat vents!!!

I have a 2018 with 1000 miles on it and i get a terrible burning plastic smell through the heat vents when the heat dial is all the way up. Both in fresh and recr mode and it is intermittent and comes through mostly when lower speeds and stopping. Thought it would go away by now but no luck!!

Probably the electric auxiliary heating element burning off oils.
