I would like to add fog lights to my 2018 SR. I have looked at the posts that offer step-by-step instructions but things look different. I have done searches and have read just about every topic but am still confused as I have not done this kind of work before.

When I open my fuse box (under the hood), there is a fuse and a relay marked fog, that I would assume is for the fog light, meaning that I am pre-wired.

When I look around, I find several unused plugs.

    One behind the grille:

And two between the battery and headlight:

Are any of these plugs for the fogs? Are there more? Can it be as easy as plug-and-play?

    Thanks for any help.

What about checking the steering column wiring under the clamshell, and do you have a blue wire going to pin 26 on the body ECU?

BTW, I just want to add a switch to the dash, not change the stalk.

    I'm still confused.

If I attach the adapter between the grille plug and the fogs and add the cube relay. Will there be a plug behind the knockout on the dash to attach the switch?

I see how some would be wired to the stalk but I don't want that set-up.

If you are pre wired, you still need to cut 2 wired behind the dash. It’s not really plug and play at all but it’s not too hard to do. Did you read through out nitori fog light thread?

No if you're wired it will be to the stalk. If you don't want that option go the first route in the thread I posted

Seriously, Nitori's thread answers all of this.

    Thoroughly.

I think I'm starting to see. I think some of my confusion is that there appear to be missing pictures on that thread.

Yeah I just checked the thread and for some reason a lot of my pictures have just been nuked, with no rhyme or reason.

I will try to fix all that today.

I know this is totally off topic but what wheels/tire setup are you running and what mpg are getting with that setup?

Check Nitori's thread, but basically if its pre-wired it means its wired from the steering column all the way to a harness dangling by your radiator. So all you need aside from the lights and housing is one more harness that goes from the one by the radiator to your actual lights and a new stalk on your steering wheel that has the fog light switch and a relay.
