I have heard that the 2017 to 2018 Tacoma 2.7s r a little different as far as the lce header. I called the company and no one can explain what exactly is different. They told me maybe the air tube on top the exhaust manifold. But everything looks to be the same and all the bolt mounting points are the same. Any help out there I have the 2018 2.7

    I had a 2016 SR and a 2017 SR5 2.7L (magnet for idiot drivers apparently)

Didn't notice anything different in the engine bay.

They say the air injection system is different. But all the mounting points look to be the same.

Never had mine apart other than swapping filters.

I think the only way you're going to get "more" power out of the 2.7 is to drive with the ECT button on.

I do use the ecu. I would love to have the header. Lce did a Dino run and it shows 30 hp more. That would help this truck out. I have already done cold air intake and exhaust that seemed to help with a little bit more power but I would like just a bit more in the horse power department.

Trade it in. It always seems to be a slippery slope with the 2.7. Someone dumps a bunch of money for more power only to find that it's still not enough.

That sounds like a good idea. Keep it one more year then trade.

The 3.5 isn't lacking, despite what all of the trolls say.

It’s an integrated header if I’m not mistaken. Can’t swap it

It certainly isn’t, especially when you put your foot down.

    What you haz?

I don’t believe lce all the way... but if I was handed a header I’d consider installing it because it just looks cool.
