It would be better if you could wait six months and sale then. It will probably be worth the same. I would say you'd be lucky to $35,000 for it. You just took the biggest depreciation hit in the vehicles life by driving it off the lot.

Yeah I'm not in a rush. I'm waiting for the Ford Ranger to release anyway. Is KBB off (as in not accurate)?

I would say so. You might could get someone to pay that price but it would be difficult and it wont be anyone from this forum. You'd probably need to find someone in rush to buy as tacomas can be hard to find at times.

I hate to be a stickler, but if you are going to post the KBB sure you post the correct options(You selected long bed in your KBB). Private party value with the correct options is $36,225, obviously this will vary based on location (Where I am in Utah it is $35,260).

At the end of the day, list it for what you want. If it sells then great, if not you're obviously not in a hurry to get rid of it. I would expect that most people would rather pay an extra 1-2k for a brand new vehicle, but there is always that one person who maybe wants to pay cash and a brand new vehicle is barely outside what they have on hand.

I priced out a new truck like yours for my area but couldn't find the leather option ( I'm assuming its NOT in the 'Premium Package'?) nor the extended warranty,
    Fair price is $38,300. New.

I don't think many people are looking for leather in a truck. You're gonna take a hit. Wishing You Good Luck though.

@ProjectBangarang thank you...didn't realize I posted 6ft. The adjusted suggested value is $36,348 in the middle $37,522 high side.

@ClassicVW The premium package was required to get the leather. Leather, in my opinion, is the best option for any off roader. Easier to clean. Cloth traps dirt and you have to scrub it to get them to smell decent. Leather is extremely durable if you take care of it properly.

How often have you had that truck seriously off-road?
Yes you need to scrub cloth if you are a slob. You can apply a fabric protector to it though. Leather needs to be 'maintained' even if you keep it clean.

Not a single time. I bought it in Tennessee because my other car couldn't pass smog. Moved and drove to Washington a few months after. The most off road its seen is a highway that was shut down and turned into gravel for a few miles.
Maintaining leather is as difficult as swiping your hand along your seat with a cloth and product. If that's too tough then I guess cloth is better, let someone else deal with it. To each their own.

You say leather is better for off-road use but you never took it off-road so that’s not why you bought leather. Just be honest with us and don’t continue to try to sell your truck ro us in a ‘feeler’ thread.

I didn’t say it was too tough to maintain just whether you take it off road or not you still have to maintain it. If you don’t mistreat the regular cloth seats there’s basically zero maintenance.

    Yes, to each their own.

Paranoid much? I joined this forum about a week ago after finding it for the first time. I was never a visitor or a lurker before that. I'm not your personal little boogey-man that you think I am, sorry.

You post a thread entitled "Feeler". Which means you're soliciting opinions and comments. You get said opinions and comments, and don't like what you hear. So, you call me a name and tell me to get lost. I was not rude to you and even wished you GLWS a post or two back. Don't worry about me wasting my time with you any longer, you can go screw yourself. (After you look under your bed for your boogey-man)

Why did you post a feeler and then get upset when people tell you what they think?

Sorry for hurting your feelings on the internet with facts regarding the price of your truck. Also you got absolutely washed on the warranty they sold you. I suspect you will benefit from not taking everything personally and listening to what multiple other people have told you. I don’t know what else to tell you other than GLWS.

It's not my feelings I'm worried about, it's yours. I am sorry I upset you. Personally I don't think people should be so assumptuous on things they don't know. Have a nice day.
