    Hello,

I have a 2018 Taco TRD. I have an aftermarket remote start installed. Currently I have to bring my Toyota Key Fob and Aftermarket Remote Start Key fob everywhere. I was wondering if the original Toyota Key Fob can be reconfigured to take the aftermarket remote start?

If not, does anybody have any suggestions for key fobs that will let me run the car and have the remote start in one unit?

Any recommendations and info is appreciated!

So depending on your brand, you can have it programmed that 3 locks and hold will start it. But its hard to say if the particular brand you have can accomidate that.

Also there's the other option of converting it to a cell phone starter.

    https://www.dronemobile.com/

This uses existing remote starter and uses cell phone towers to start the truck, so it has unlimited range and you just use your cell phone. I've had this in numerous vehicles and prefer it to having a 2nd remote.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I looked into it and it is a bit of a hazzle or get a new unit so I will stick with what I have for now.
