So I’m looking to level out my truck. I want to keep the back stock but bring the front up. I was gonna go with the rough country strut spacer on the front, but need some insight. I’m not going and doing crazy off roading climbing up mountains and crap. Would a spacer be ideal to give it a better stance? And what’s the best spacer if so?

Thats what I want to do. My son lifted his truck 4/3 and it looks perfect but it's too hard for me to get in and out of. I want a front lift that just levels it out but there are so many choices with the spacers. My Taco friends here say, just get the King or the Icon system :)

I noticed people talking about the Bilstein lifts such as the king but that’s something I’m going to wait on for further down the road which is why I’m wondering what everyone on here thinks of the 2” strut spacers. Can you drop a pic of your sons truck though?

I wanted to do a level kit at first. Talked to a friend who works on trucks and he told me they're ok. But it increases tire wear due to the angles.
When I was looking I read good things about the Low Range Leveling Kit. http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/lrt-...2018-toyota-tacoma-by-low-range-off-road.html
Seems to be well thought out.

After running some numbers, I realized going with the Bilstein/OME/AAL setup was a little more, but would pay itself off by avoiding tire wear in the long run. That's just my logic.

Did you end up getting the Low Range or the Bilstein?

I just started ordering parts. Only have Icon Tubular Delta Join UCA's purchased. Trying to find pricing on the setup I want. You won't need the UCA.

I'm thinking Bilstein 5100/OME 887/Icon Progressive AAL. 1/4" spacer for the driver side. OME Carrier Barrier Drop Kit.

Most seem to get away with the 5100 / Some OME Coil and an AAL. I'm still learning and researching.

If all you want to do is raise the front of the truck the $50 Rough Country spacers will work fine. If your off-roading consists of mainly dirt fire/logging roads it won’t be a problem.

Thats what I'm thinking. Glamis is all we will ever see but that low range looks like a quality kit. Would require an amp research step though.

Here’s a pic of mine with 884 ome coils and totally stock rear end.
    Lifted about 1.25 inches.
I’d recommend front bilstein 5100’s at about $200 ran on third or 4th setting. 1.1 for third and 1.55 for 4th setting. Install isn’t bad at all if you have the right tools. No spring compressor needed. I found the coils used locally for $80 so figured why not.
