    Wow that’s pretty awesome!

How has the taco box been?
    I’ll check the install vids.

How’d you bend the pinch welds, I’m guessing before the sliders were on?
I’m trying to figure a way to deal with mine without removing them.

Tacobox has been great, when I do use it. I don’t have the terrain (rock boulders) that it works great on but the hand full of times it has been used it was awesome.

The pinchweld above the frame or near the body mount? I never ended up bending the pinch above the sliders. Found it wasn’t really necessary

    Gotcha.
It looks like you’re more east coast-ish.
I used to live in ny/nyc. SoCal has a lot of rock crawling I just figured it’d be a ton of work to make the 3rd gen into a beast....and I need it as a daily driver anyway.

Yeah I thought you did it by the sliders.

We call it the Midwest lol smack dab in MO. Lots of wooded trails, the rocks are small unless you go south. I’ll eventually work my way out west.

Yeah this thing is a pain to do anything to, unlike my previous rigs- jeeps. I don’t daily this one so u figured instead of letting it sit I’d do something to it.

No I was definitely going to, but not needed anymore.

Ha, well definitely a cool build!

CA is going down the tubes and will probably nosedive depending on how things go Election Day.
It’s a beautiful state but the years of hyper liberal nanny politics is making it unbearable. Everyone I know has an exit plan.

    Definitely
For me the toughest part will be not living by the beach and how to deal with not surfing every day!

    How much did it cost?
    Any before/after pix?

    I can only imagine! Lol

I haven’t had it fixed yet. The bed is still sitting in my garage. I’ve got two dents right about tail light and one in front of tail light.

What does a “Taco Box” do to the truck?

It’s basically a second transfer case, with a gear reduction. With the tacobox engaged the truck will “creep” and allow more control when climbing or descending an obstacle.

37s are a whole new ball game. I’m glad I did it.

No joke, they rub no more than my 35s did. If you do it, commit. Cut that firewall, trim those fenders and send it

I have not measured them at all, I’ll
measure them when I take the wheels off again. They are also only like 1/2 tread lol. These were far better than the mock up ones.

eventually I’ll get a brand new set

*lol according to the inter web they measure out to 36.54” that’s obviously new though lol

I was actually highly surprised on the rocks, mud and wet rock/ sand, they did just fine.

I’ll get an actual measurement when I take the wheels off again. Just to see
