Since I bought the Tacoma in 2019, I've had a lot of issues with the radio. The most recent issue I've had is when I'm driving up to my house, my music from my phone will either stop completely or will stop and then start again but the volume will be very low. Not sure how to fully reset the radio.

I've tried to unpair and fully remove my phone and then resync it and manually turned my radio off numerous times by holding down the power button. nothing seems to work. if anyone has any other suggestions they would be much appreciated.

Do you have a Samsung by chance and use Bixby Routines?

I have a 2016 since new with stock radio and Sirius. It also has blue tooth with connection to iPhone. Last weekend, while listening to Willie’s Roadhouse, the radio just quit. First time in 6 years. The on/off switch and audio controls had no effect. Then it suddenly came back on (I didn’t do anything that may have corrected it) after about 2 or 3 minutes with no further problems. Volume normal. When it came back on, I thought I may have seen a brief symbol on the screen coming from my phone, possibly related to some music saved on the phone. I’m wondering if I could have inadvertently done something to the phone which interferes with radio. Just thought that might be similar to your story. Hope you get it fixed.

Do you use any sort of routine that detects your location and adjusts phone settings? It sounds like it's detecting your location as if you're home and turning your Bluetooth volume down.
