    Hi everyone,

I wanted to post in hopes of helping others out. I have a 2018 Toyota Tacoma with power sliding rear window. This weekend I woke up to the left panel of the rear window smashed in. Poor break in attempt or just plain vandalism. Since my deductible with State Farm is $500 I decided to call Safelite and various local shops recommended by AAA discount program. All vendors stated only a OEM replacement could be offered, and they would have to order part from dealership. The wait time for install was about a week, and was initially quated >$600 on average. After searching for the part number I called the local dealership and was able to get it on my own, and they honored the online price ($258.71 vs $369.58 before tax) Part number is 64810-04130 and this does NOT include the center sliding glass (part number 64807-04040). I called one of the local auto glass repair shops' owners who gave me the most honest vibe, and he scheduled to install my back window assembly using the existing center sliding glass tomorrow. Said it would be about $75-100. This will total my cost at about $380 parts, taxes, and labor. Much better than going through insurance. Best of luck to anyone put in this situation.
