Just today my signal flashers/hazards stopped working at 2,700 miles. Dealer stated they never seen this happen. Engineers/techs from corporate found the flasher relay in the instrument cluster was faulty and actually shorted out after multiple diagnostics and testings. Getting a new instrument cluster from corporate. Free rental, but still shocked and perplexed that I am driving a Toyota and this component fails. Gosh what else in the future!!

Sounds like a future safety recall coming.
