    Big magnet is only helpful with big power. I would suggest a mosfet powered amp. Matching the speaking max with an amp that is equally powerful will be your best option. You can always turn down the power of the amp to match the speaker. Otherwise you will not use the full potential.

    did u run a amp to these speakers or run it off the stock stereo if so do u know what the power output is ??

    I had some Alpine speakers, tweeter mod, and an amp installed in mine by AudioToyz. Night and day difference. The sound is excellent now. You should see the Mickey Mouse Stock speakers...
