2018 tacoma trd pro - biggest wheel/tire option?

    People run 315s on an 8 inch wheel and get fine tread wear, don't see how a 285 on a 7 inch wheel would matter

    Minimum rim width for 285/16’s is 7.5 to 9 inch. When you go outside of manufacturer specs you won’t get the full benefits the tire has to offer. Guys do it all the time and that’s okay it’s their money but don’t expect the tire to perform as well as it would if you stayed in spec with the manufacturer after all they made it and who would know better.
