I leased a 2018 Tacoma last July. It currently has less than 6K miles. This is the worst driving vehicle that I have ever owned and driven. The accelerator is completely unresponsive unless pressed very aggressively which results in the transmission shifting down multiple times. The automatic transmission is constantly hunting and shifting gears. After much discussion with the dealer and a Toyota national rep, I was informed that everything is normal. What a crock of baloney. My Tacoma was made in the Baja Mexico. Needless to say I am very disappointed and will probably end my ownership of any Toyota when the lease is up. When gently pressing the accelerator to maintain speed the engine seems to hiccup like a misfire. Very annoying.

Welcome to TW! I'm guessing you didn't take a thorough test drive of the vehicle.
