2018 Tail Pipe Bent Up?

Yes it does. When it was unloaded off the truck when it was delivered the pipe was full of water and sand.

Its factory OEM high clearance exhaust so you can clear all the deep puddles at the mall parking lot.

I just repositioned the clamp so it does look so obvious.

 

Look close at the pictures I posted. Notice the palm leaves? Unloaded the truck on Friday and drove it down to Florida on Sunday.

 

It increases style performance! I have one too, until a rock claims it, I guess.

hmm

start up and shutdown condensation water will pool in the pipe and will rot eventually
(stainless or not)

anywho, my turd pipe (my truck OK ?) has a bend but that is from bashing rocks
I thought and have seen all tacos have the pipe at least horizontal if not a slight downward slope.

but it is mostly harmless....may cause more black sooty water splats on startup and if
you only make short trips....

anyhow the muffler will rot before the pipe will
and when you get a new muffler, the end pipe comes with it.

I second this,

 

New exhaust design, with bro-lean correction flow. Pushes the passenger side down to match the driver side. Trickle down from the Toyota racing program.

 

I'm going to loosen the exhaust where is bolts on ahead of the muffler and see if there is enough slop to allow the tail pipe to drop.

 

Every V6 '16+ Taco I've seen is like this. The 4 cylinder exhaust is not.

Noticed it when the 16's came out on all Tacoma's in Hawaii. I replaced mine with duals and flowmaster exhaust the next day I picked it up from the dealer. $.02

 

Judging by the tires, I'm doubtful it will ever see anything other than maybe a dirt road.

 

I threw a magnaflow and chopped it after the last hanger.

 

Give a guy a break, the tire are stock Firestone Destinations. I've only had the truck for a week.
