    Has anyone out there try to install the tailgate latches on first gens. Im curious into how much fabrication is needed. If no one has, i might try to be the first .

    There's someone who took the entire 3rd Gen tailgate outer skin and grafted it to the 1st Gen tailgate shell. If you're good at welding I would do that.
