You do realize you're on a site of Tacoma fans that's supports 3+ generations. We are all aware of the quirks that tacomas have .

I'd just take a step back and a deep breath. Let Toyota do their thing, look at it, and come back to you how they'll remedy your situation. No need to get upset over something that isn't an issue yet. Again, as I said before, it's an inconvenience but should be a situation where a solution can easily be obtained.

They get 3 tries and you don’t need a lawyer to deal with a buy back, I went through it with a Chevy that had an unsafe, unfixable issue and I took care of it with no help. Video was my friend on that day. Good luck getting your truck fixed.

Yeah, Multibillion dollar international corporations tremble in fear every time some peon that can't afford a $31,000 truck threatens them. You haven't even told the dealer you have an issue that needs addressed. Drama queen much?

No, you're not thinking at all. No one but a shyster will take you, because you have not complied with the rules of lemon laws.

Irrelevant to your situation. Since you want to lawyer up, the term 'inadmissible' comes to mind.

    Truth

Then read your lease, learn the terms of getting out, take your lumps, and get out. Simple.

Now that right there is funny, I don't care who you are!:rofl:

What the dealer calls them being inaccurate is your anecdotal theory. The fact that they are autos is because very few manuals are even made. Relative to YOUR situation, see the term 'inadmissible' above.

Now you're just making stuff up. :der:

I'm thinking you won't be spending much time around here after not receiving a loving welcome. But in case I'm wrong, some room has become available in my 'safe space' because of some occupants who have now been perma-banned by the mods. I'll have the maid prep your space.

    Welcome!

Hey Bill, I certainly understand your frustration. However, a simply TSB is all you may need. You have arrived at the wrong forum to bash your truck. Take your truck into your dealership for a professional diagnosis and calm down. I too had issues with my transmission, the tsb addressed it. Goodluck, take a breath and welcome to TW!

2009: Hmm, my brand new truck is having issues, I'll take it to the dealer. It's under the warranty period and they will take care of it.

2019: I better join this forum and complain, not take common sense steps, threaten legal action, claim limited unverified proof of many tacomas being lemon lawed at my local dealer and REALLLY try and make this a huge deal.

    Seems about right.

Your one lawyer is not going to scare Toyotas team of lawyers, especially if you haven't even given the dealer a chance to check it out. I am going to guess you are in your mid 20s to early 30s at most. You are not entitled to just get out of it or get a new vehicle without attempts of repair on this one.
I am getting ready to take my 3 month old truck with less than 2k miles on it to the dealer right now for a brake master cylinder replacement. I am not upset and I am not demanding a new truck, but I am hoping they have coffee made.

Mine was a dealer trade, not traded for me but just one they swapped for because the other dealer needed one they had. It was driven 300 miles so there it sat on my local dealers lot with around 320 miles. When we were done with the test drive the salesman recorded the mileage and that is where the warranty starts.

It’s clear he joined tacomaworld and got scared. Probably read one of the dozens of threads about the Ranger and changed his mind. He is looking for an excuse to end the lease.

What you need to do, dude, is assume some responsibility for your decisions. You must know a lease is a contract which at this point you have zero standing to terminate. Good luck finding a lawyer that will waste his time. In fact, I do hope you find one. Soon parted.

I had, I believe, it was TSB 0052- something downloaded at the 5,000 mile tire rotation because I didn't care for the automatic transmission factory shift points. Now at 10,000 miles and I'm certainly satisfied with it.
